Two police officers are said to have been killed in Isu, while others were killed in Onicha Igboeze. During the incident, two lawyers were also alleged to have been killed by the shooters. The two lawyers were in a vehicle when they were approached by shooters in a Lexus SUV, according to reports. The intruders were reported to have slain the lawyers, set fire to the SUV they were driving, and then fled with the lawyers’ vehicle. Gunmen and alleged security officers are said to have killed people in Onicha in the last three months. Last month, a woman and daughter of a monarch in the area, Elizabeth Agwu, was killed by a stray bullet when policemen invaded the community to arrest a suspect.
