Description:

Review and comment of CONTRACTOR's and VENDOR's documentation during Tender Stage, Detailed Engineering, Qualification, pre-fabrication and site construction (MPS, ITP, procedures, etc..)

• Check that the design is developed in line with the Project's requirements, COMPANY General Specifications and ensure that all comments, as agreed, are duly incorporated by Engineering Contractor,

• Establish / updating technical specifications as necessary

• Conduct inspection of VENDOR's facilities as necessary in particular at qualification stage to ensure adherence to qualified process and prevent deviations

• Provide technical assistance and relevant quality controls during pre-fabrication and site construction

• Liaise with TOTAL's TDO/TEC Specialists located in head office (Paris) to get the necessary support for specific technical points/deviation to TOTAL's requirements

• Report to the Engineering Manager / Construction Manager on a regular basis, and to Project's Management upon request

• Ensure that HSE issues are taken into consideration during design

• Participate in Project technical reviews as necessary

• Propose technical solutions / way forward in case of unexpected difficulties during the project development

• Develop and prepare as need be technical reports

Requirements:

Material, Welding & NDE Lead Engineer with ten years experience in the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical Industries

• Graduated Welding Engineer (or equivalent)

• Good knowledge of international design codes / standards and COMPANY general specifications

• Knowledge in corrosion aspects

• Fluent in English language.
