UGHELLI- People  of UGHELLI and Uwheru towns in Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State, were, yesterday, thrown into mourning, when the news of the death of Mr. Stanford Obrutse, owner of Imoniyame Holdings, Ughelli filtered in.

Mr. Obrutse, Sunday, died in the ill-fated Dana aircraft,  that crashed at Iju,Ishaga area of Lagos. When our correspondent visited the factory, yesterday, the atmosphere was dull as the staffs were in mourning mood, following the news of the death of their chairman.

Efforts to speak to some of the workers were fruitless, as they were still grappling with news of the sudden death of their boss. One of the management staff of the company, who spoke to our correspondent on telephone, confirmed the death.

Describing Mr. Obrutse as a wonderful boss, the staff who does not want his name in print, said the entire staff of the company were grieving over his death.

Saying that the late Mr. Obrutse had so much passion for the company, he decried that the vacuum created by his death would be difficult to fill.

At Uwheru, Mr Igho Aragba, a former leader of Ughelli North Legislative Arm, described the death of Mr. Obrutse as a monumental loss to the people of Uwheru Kingdom, lamenting that the vacuum created by his death cannot be filled by any measure.
