QUALIFICATIONS

Principal Librarian

•   Candidates must possess a good first degree and a Hager degree.

•   Preferably a doctorate degree in Library and Information Science.

•   The person must also be fully registered by relevant body.

•   The Librarians Registration Council Nigeria.

•   A minimum of 14years' experience in a higher institution library.

•   The candidate must possess advanced ICT skills and leadership qualities appropriate to a key learning resource centre in the information age.

Senior Librarian

•   Candidates must possess a good degree and a higher degree in Library and Information Science.

•   The person must also be fully registered by relevant body.

•   The Librarians Registration Council Nigeria.

•   A minimum of 9 years' experience in a higher institution library.

•   The candidate must possess advanced ICT skills .

Librarian I

•   Candidates must possess a good degree in library and Information Science.

•   The candidates must have some academic publications in refereed journals as evidence of research activity.

•   In addition to having a minimum of 5years experience in a higher institution library the candidates must possess ICT skills.

Librarian II

•   Candidates must possess a good first degree in Library and Information Science.

•   In addition to having a minimum of 3years experience in a higher institution library.

•   The candidate must possess ICT skills.

Assistant Librarian

•   Candidates must possess a Higher National Diploma in Library and information Science in addition to having a minimum of 2years experience in a higher institution Library.

•   The candidate must possess ICT skills.
