Reports To: Manager-Data (Product Development)

Job Summary:

Support the Manager-Data (Product Development) in functional product design and co-ordination of data product development projects

Principal Functions:

Monitor and manage existing products in consumer portfolio on an ongoing basis

Support project management in the product development lifecycle of new data products

Design, facilitate and conduct customer surveys; produce value-adding reports for informed decision-making

Keep abreast of new telecoms marketing, products, services and customer loyalty initiatives developed by competitor operators; recommend appropriate actions to be taken

Implement product development policies and procedures

Ensure new products' design is in line with market segment strategy and objectives

Monitor and evaluate existing products performance on an ongoing basis

Develop a mechanism for proactively identifying new product related queries

Ensure prompt resolution of identified product related issues

Provide information packs and FAQs to guide the deployment and use of new products and services

Ensure sign off of product specifications

Drive and participate actively in Friendly User Trials (FUTs)

Liaise with Technical teams on customer care and billing applications

Perform other tasks as required by the Manager-Data (Product Development)

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in relevant disciplines, including Marketing, Social Sciences, Engineering and/ or IT

Relevant postgraduate and/or professional qualifications/ certifications will provide an advantage

Experience & Skills:

Between three (3) and five (5) years' directly-relevant post-NYSC work experience
