Overall Role Purpose:

•   Assess planning applications and enforce and monitor outcomes as necessary.

•   Research and design planning policies to guide development.

•   Assist in researching  and analysing data to help inform strategic development ( such as increase in affordable homes).

•   Designing layouts and drafting statements

•   Liaising with the design team towards the preparation of estate master plan and layout

•   Keeping up to date with legislation associated with land use.

Requirements:

•   A good university degree / HND in Town Planning.  

•   Proficiency in the use of Micro soft word, Excel, Microsoft Power Point applications is also required.

•   At least 3 years experience in a similar post with a good interpersonal relationship skill is essential.

•   Registration with NITP is an advantage.
