Support the design and piloting of health community score cards in Nigeria

Consultancy as part of the voice and accountability work of the Partnerships for Transforming Health Systems programme

We are looking for a consultant to support the design and assist with piloting community score cards for health as a means for communities to give direct feedback on health services.

The PATHS2 voice and accountability team plans to introduce community score cards as a means of enabling communities to provide feedback to their local health facilities and health decision-makers at local and state government levels. It will provide a structured mechanism whereby local facility health committees can solicit views from community members about their local health services, so that facility health committee members can then prioritise where they should focus their advocacy work with health decision-makers.

PATHS2 seeks to improve the planning, financing and delivery of sustainable and replicable pro-poor services for common health problems in up to six states in Nigeria. As part of the programme, PATHS2 seeks to encourage citizens to voice their experiences of and concerns with health services and to place pressure on government to be more responsive and accountable in their delivery.
