Learn a lesson: The story of a woman, her baby and a dog

A certain woman had a little baby and a dog. Everyday she went about her daily activities leaving the baby in the care of the dog. The dog always guard the baby with so much love and care.

The woman was so pleased with the dog that she could go anywhere and was sure that the baby was safe with the dog.

They all lived happily together until one day when something tragic happened. That day, the woman came back from the market and met her house in a different shape.

She went to her baby's room and it was totally wrecked. The baby's bed was stained with
blood, the bedsit was torn in pieces and the baby was nowhere to be found. Then, she saw the dog leaping out from under the bed in blood stains and tired from a struggle.

The woman concluded that the dog has fed on her child and started beating the dog until it was dead. Then, she searched beside the bed for the remains of her child and found her baby lying safely on the ground and unhurt. She looked under the bed and saw the remains of a giant snake.

Fear griped her, her heart was filled with regrets. The snake had come to devour the child
but the faithful dog had fought and killed the snake.

She started crying, knowing that she could no longer thank or reward the dog for saving her child.
