Eligibility:

-The Scholarship is tenable by domestic or international students

-The Scholarship will be awarded to a masters or PhD candidate who has paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for full-time enrollment in a Masters or PhD in Marine Science to study climate time-series data.

Scholarship Description: The Scholarship was established in 2011 and is funded by the Friends of Leigh. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to support a postgraduate research masters or doctoral student in Marine Science to undertake analysis of marine climate time-series data based on a 45 year dataset collected at Leigh Marine Laboratory.The Scholarship will be awarded by the University of Auckland Council upon the recommendation of a Selection Committee comprising the Director and Postgraduate Adviser (or their nominees) of the Department of Marine Sciences and one other member of the academic staff (appointed by the Director).
