Job Title: Country Manager – CWG Cameroun

Location: Cameroun (Nigeria)

Job Description:

•   Responsible for crafting the strategy to run a multi- national ICT organization in Cameroun.

•   Responsible for the security and effective operations of the Group's investments & Stock (including equipment at customer premises) and ensuring profitability in ROI.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

i.)                  Leading the company in making the best use of resources as a strategic tool for improving business performance.

ii.)                Keep an eye out for new opportunities of which we can take advantage if they are in synergy with our overall business

iii.)              Entrenching appropriate security systems and control measures required for protecting the Company's investments

iv.)              Assessing ICT trends and environment, acting as a technology lookout, seeking continuous exploitation opportunities for enhancing business performance through the introduction of new products

v.)                Responsible for the development and review of the company's annual budgets (Revenues and expenditures), forecasting and monitoring expenditure in line with corporate plans

vi.)              Influencing relevant government agencies and ICT regulatory bodies in ensuring favorable policies

vii.)            Formulating appropriate policies, standards and controls in line with best practices

viii.)          Responsible for defining training and development plans for the company's staff in a dynamic technology driven environment

ix.)              Marketing to properly position the company and products in the marketplace

x.)                Motivate the staff to achieve stretch goals

xi.)              Assist in hiring good and dependable staff

xii.)            Maintain a balance among all stakeholders (suppliers, customers, staff, management, shareholders, the community etc)

Desired Skills & Experience:

•   A strong inspiring coach, with highly developed skills in teaching, leading and generating the confidence and capability to delegate.

•    A matured professional, capable of relating with top level management while espousing dispassionate and objective views.

•   Sound interpersonal and persuasive skills combined with tact and diplomacy.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

•   Good numerate university degree.

•   Possession of MBA and/or Accounting qualification, an added advantage.

•   Minimum of twelve years cognate experience, six of which must be at senior management level in the ICT function.
