Job Title: Quality Control Officer – Real Estate

Responsibilities:

• Perform all the necessary quality control for materials, building elements and works executed in site by all contractors and workers to ensure the qualities required by the nature of the project.

• Managing and operating of all works on site according to the quality manual and quality level of project under direct supervision of QS and Site Manager

• Drawing up daily specific quality reports and liaise with QC and Civil Works Responsible to ensure that all activities and works on site are in accordance with the technical documentation of project- both architectural and structural design

• Liaise with QS officer on site, QC and QS to prepare reports on errors of execution and charging costs to subcontractors in question.

• Controls, systematically, all execution phases that determine the quality of work.

• Liaise with Civil works responsible and carrying out construction activities on site in accordance with the latest updates versions of plans and technical documentation.

• Responsible for compliance with instructions received from QC / Site Manager/Project Manager.

• Perform such other duties and tasks have been assigned by / QS /Site Manager/ Project Manager

• Perform same duties and tasks as QC when he (QC) is not on site.

• Participate in identifying and analyzing nonconformities found on execution

• Take strong action for any work completed to be performed under quality.

• Stop work if he finds, after controls, serious non-compliance with project execution and technical regulations and inform immediately QC / Site Manager / Project Manager

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

• First Degree in any engineering field from a reputable University

• Critical and prone to quality

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and ability to work in team

• Priority setting and problem solving skills

• At least 2 years related experience in a construction industries with in depth technical knowledge of construction

• Must possess good organizational skills and be able to pay strong attention to detail.

• Have the ability to contribute to and work effectively within a team environment.

• Must possess excellent IT skills- MS Word, A-Cad and MS Excel

• Good written and spoken English. Ability to work flexibly & under pressure and to meet demanding deadlines; including the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
