Animation in Nigeria

Just this January, it was on BBC, "Kenya's Animated Series" a production of Home Boys Entertainment, but before then, a Nigerian Animator popularly known as Grafikdon, has already published his own animation 'Mark of Uru' which is a production of Mayhem Studios.

But when we Zoom into the Animation Industry in Nigeria, it has been a house full of talents without any tangible production. All over the globe, Nigerian Animators, modellers, 2d/3d Artists, illustrators, photoshop artists and Cg artist abound but nothing to represent the home front.

Lagos Nigeria is a home of many studios and agencies, but what creative and jaw-dropping cg animated production can we boast of? Nothing.

How far can we go when we have vowed to run our stuffs individually rather than coming together to form animation groups and clubs as well as organise exhibitions, workshops and competition.
We are the Giant, why dont we live up to expectation.
