Tambuwal, Fashola, Kukah for talks on Nigeria

LAGOS—SPEAKER of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal; Lagos State Governor, Mr. Raji Fashola and Bishop Mathew Kukah are among dignitaries expected at a town hall  meeting put together to celebrate the best faces in Nigeria's socio-political and economic advancement.

The event, which is being convened by Business Hallmark Newspapers, holds on September 14,at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos.

In a briefing, yesterday, in Lagos, the Chairman of Public Policy Forum, Ambassador George Obiozor, said the event, titled: Nigeria's Road To Transformation, would be hosted by Mr. Steve Sackur of BBC Hard Talk fame.

He said:  "The town hall meeting will showcase some of our best and brightest Nigerians at various levels of our society. After painstaking effort by our editorial board of the public policy forum selected 13 eminent governors in the country, four ministers, 10 private sector operators and three corporate organisations to participate in this phase of Hallmark Town Hall Meeting."

He said Governors Rotimi Amaechi, Adams Oshiomhole, Godswill Akpabio, Babangida Aliyu of Rivers, Edo, Akwa Ibom and Niger states respectively would be among governors to be celebrated at the forum.
