Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will:

•   Have oversight responsibility for the Rooms Division.

•   He/She will direct and coordinate activities of housekeepers and laundry department.

Specifically, the candidate will:

•   Direct the day-to-day operations of the Rooms Division

•   Provide up-to-date report on maintenance issues within the rooms

•   Manage rooms budget to ensure optimum efficiency and effective utilization of resources

Qualifications, skills and experience

•   A good first degree, preferably in Tourism & Hospitality or any related discipline from a reputable institution.

•   Minimum of eight (8) years' relevant experience in the Rooms division within the hospitality industry at the 3 and 5-star levels.

•   Demonstrable creative ability in housekeeping and interior decoration.

•   Proven experience in the management of facilities.

•   Ability to work collaboratively with other departments within a Hotel or Resort.

•   Knowledge of regulatory issues and HSE requirements.
