Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate shall serve as:

•   The link man between the host community and the Resort management on issues affecting the tourist centre, management and visitors.

•   He/she will promote good relationship between the Resort management and the community.

Specifically, the candidate will:

•   Bring to the notice of the Management all issues that need urgent attention affecting the Resort project and the community

•   Ensure that all visitors coming to the tourist centre are well received and treated by the community

•   Alert the Management as quickly as possible on issues that may bring misunderstanding between the contractor/management of the tourist centre and the community

•   Perform any other functions assigned by the management of the Warm Spring Resort

Qualifications, skills and experience

•   A good first degree, preferably in any Social Sciences discipline from a reputable institution.

•   Minimum of four (4) years' relevant experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

•   Native of the Warm Spring Resort Community.

•   Experience in managing the government, external or community relations of any reputable multinational organisation.

•   Proven ability in liaising with community groups/interests, handling communications, settling disputes, etc.

•   Knowledge of HSE and regulatory requirements.

•   Good communication, problem-solving, interpersonal and people skills.
