Jigawa approves N7bn airport project

Dutse—Jigawa State Executive Council, yesterday, approved the award of a N7 billion contract for the construction of an airport in Dutse, the state capital.

State Commissioner for Information, Youth, Sports and Culture, Mr. Babandi Ibrahim, who disclosed this while briefing newsmen at Government House on the outcome of the meeting, said the project will be completed within a year because of government's commitment towards the actualisation of the project.   Alhaji Ibrahim explained that the contract will be carried out in three phases.
