Automaker blocks employees from using social networking sites such as Facebook and Xing out of fear of industrial espionage.



The company believes that foreign intelligence services are accessing Porsche employees' profiles on social networking sites and becoming privy to "confidential" information. So said Porsche spokesperson Dirk Erat to Bloomberg in a telephone interview.
