Cheryl Cole Lands First Hollywood Movie Role

According to reports Cheryl Cole is to star in a big-budget Hollywood movie alongside A-list celebrities such as Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez.

The movie entitled "What To Expect When You're Expecting" will also see actors Dennis Quaid, Chris Rock and Matthew Morrison taking on the roles as expecting parents.

It is reported that Diaz and Cole's characters will first meet at a singing competition, in which Cole plays the TV talent show judge - a role which was close to her own heart.

According to the Mail Online the movie which began shooting in mid-May is in 'advanced talks' with Cole who is said to begin filming later this month. It is suggested that Cole first impressed Hollywood directors at the Cannes Film Festival back in May.

A source close to the website has revealed: "This is a bit of fun for Cheryl. She will film the scenes imminently and is really looking forward to it."

The insider added: "It doesn't mean she suddenly wants to become actress."

In recent weeks Cheryl has been spotted in Los Angeles relaxing and enjoying her time of since being axed from the US X-Factor.
