Juventus chief denies Buffon injury 'conspiracy'

Juventus chief executive Giuseppe Marotta insists Gianluigi Buffon did not dodge his national team duties in order to concentrate on the Serie A.
                                                            Buffon pulled out of Italy's 3-1 win over Denmark on Tuesday evening and was replaced by Napoli's Morgan De Sanctis. Citing a minor thigh strain for Buffon's unavailability, Marotta denied there was any conspiracy in preventing the goalkeeper from playing for the Azzurri.
