Justice Elfreda William-Dawodu of a Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja has fixed December4 for the adoption of written address by parties in the ongoing divorce case between Lagos-based  lawyer, Mr Festus Keyamo, and his estranged wife, Irene Isioma Nwanze.
Keyamo had, two years ago, dragged his wifeto court to seek for a dissolution of their six- year-old marriage which he claimed had broken down irretrievably.
When the case came up for hearing, parties were directed by the court to prepare for the adoption of their written address to signify the conclusion of the matter.
Keyamo had argued before  the court that hisrelationship with Irene had been awry, especially when he claimed that both of themhad lived apart for more than three years after several misunderstandings.
He also claimed that at a particular time, his wife locked him out, while he was forced to go and sleep in his office.
He also alleged that his estranged wife did not know how to cook, while claiming that she had fought him to the extent that she tore the tyres of his Toyota Forerunner with knife.
However, Irene, who is being defended by the Lagos State Office of the Public Defender (OPD) of the state Ministry of Justice, had told the court through her lawyer, Jonathan Ogunsanya, at the resumed hearing that she was not contesting the dissolution of the marriage, but urged the court to make specific pronouncements on how the offsprings of the relationship would be caredfor.
She also prayed the court to pronounce on the modalities for the custody of the children, their maintenance, discipline, stand of settlement among others before the final dissolution of the marriage.
