King’s University of London Scholarship Scheme in UK, 2013/14

One fully-funded postgraduate research scholarship offered by King's College London for academic session of 2013/14. The scholarship is open for UK/EU and international students. The study subjects are social science, health & medicine. The duration of the scholarship is for three years. The Scholarship cover tuition fees at the Home/EU rate plus an annual stipend for up to three years, subject to satisfactory progress. The Scholarship application date is 28-March-2013.

Eligibility:-All Nationalities

i) Be due to commence a postgraduate research degree programme within the Department of Social Science, Health & Medicine at King's College London during the 2013/14 academic year;

ii) Either already hold a place on a postgraduate research degree programme to start in 2013/14, OR have submitted a complete admissions application with all the required materials (as instructed in the 'Application Process' section below), by the funding application deadline set by the department;

iii) Intend to undertake the postgraduate research degree programme at King's College London on a full-time basis; iv) Fulfil the relevant academic entry requirements set by King's College London.

Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: The International students can apply for this scholarship.

Scholarship Description: The UoL Collegiate Council in May 2009 agreed that it was an appropriate time to distribute the income from the Scholarship Fund to Colleges for award. Discussions with the Charity Commission commenced and in February 2011 the Commission approved a new scheme. As a result of this approval the income from the Scholarship Fund is being allocated to Colleges for distribution for the first time in August 2011. When organised by the UoL this fund was used by King's for postgraduates, mainly offering smaller research grants for conferences, visits or research expenses.
