Osun State indigenes in Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, under the aegis of the Osun Forum, yesterday urged the Olagunsoye Oyinlola-led administration to tell the world its programme for the workers.

The workers' agitation followed the discontinuation of the joint ownership status of the institution.

Addressing reporters in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, the chairman of the forum, Mr. Adegbemi Olagunju, a prince, said the 614 Osun State workers in LAUTECH were unhappy with Oyinlola for his alleged insincerity in his handling the crisis rocking the university.

The workers regretted the inability of the committee set up by the National Universities Commission (NUC) at the peak of the crisis to redress the situation.

They said instead of rescuing the stranded workers in the institution, the Oyinlola-led government has allegedly been sharing assets and liabilities of the institution.

The workers alleged that the Oyo State government had not allowed the committee to operate within the terms of reference given to it by the NUC.
