2013 Translation Studies Master’s Degree Part-Fee Bursaries at University of Leicester in UK

School of Modern Languages is pleased to offer bursaries to UK/EU and international applicants. Two part-fee bursaries are offered to pursue master's degree in in translation studies. One bursary is open to UK/EU applicant which is worth £1,000 and the second bursary is open to international applicants which is worth £2,000. The program starts in October each year. Applications must be submitted by 31 March 2013.

Eligibility: -The bursaries are open to new UK/EU and international applicants.

-Students must have completed two years of an undergraduate/Bachelors degree in one of these countries where the medium of instruction was English within the last three years.

Scholarship Open for International Students: This scholarship is open for Anguilla, Fiji , Singapore, Antigua and Barbuda, Gambia, South Africa, Australia, Gibraltar, St Kitts and Nevis, Bahamas, Grenada, St Lucia, Barbados, Guyana,St Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize, Ireland, Swaziland, Bermuda, Jamaica ,Tanzania, Botswana, Kenya, Tonga, British Virgin Islands, Lesotho, Trinidad and Tobago, Canada, Malawi, Turks and Caicos Islands, Cayman Islands , Malta, Uganda, Christmas Island New Zealand , United Kingdom, Cocos Islands, Niue,  USA, Cook Islands , Norfolk Islands, Zambia, Dominica, Papua New Guinea , Zimbabwe, Falkland Islands, Sierra Leone students.

Scholarship Description: The School of Modern Languages is pleased to offer two part-fee bursaries for September 2013 entry to its Masters degree in Translation Studies programme. The bursaries are open to new UK/EU and international applicants. One bursary is worth £1,000 and is open to UK/EU applicants only; the second bursary is worth £2,000 and is open to international (i.e., non-EU) applicants only. Both bursaries are payable as a reduction of the applicable course fee. The bursaries are for one year (full-time study) or two years (part-time study); the bursaries will be paid pro-rata for part-time study. Applicants must be able to commence their studies in September 2013. The MA in Translation Studies at the University of Leicester prepares students for the translation professions and for progression to further academic study.
