Head coach Francis Gillot commits to Bordeaux

Francis Gillot has ended speculation over his future by signing a two-year contract extension at Bordeaux.
                                                         With his previous deal expiring this summer and Gillot, 52, having announced he would "take his time" before deciding whether or not to extend his contract, speculation had arisen the tactician would leave the Stade Chaban-Delmas.
                                                          Lille, where his son has recently been taken into the club's scouting department, was reportedly his preferred destination, but Gillot will now remain with Les Girondins till June2015.
