Sir Alex Ferguson called on his Manchester United squad to improve on the way they play penalties after Wayne Rooney blew away their 5th spot kick of the season yesterday.

Manchester United, 11-times record-winners, did advance in this term's FA Cup with a 1-0 third round replay against Premier League rivals West Ham at Old Trafford thanks to Rooney's early first-half goal.

But the England forward blew away another chance to make it 2-0 when he blazed over a penlaty 12 minutes from time.
