Job Description:

An exciting opportunity awaits a driven and technical savvy Electrical Supervisor who can independently head the Electrical/Electronics Department on our 6th generation DP3 Drillship in Nigeria.

The Electrical/Electronic Supervisor coordinates the preventative and corrective maintenance in his/her area of responsibility, communicates regularly with the other departments (mechanical, engine room, subsea, drilling, marine and safety) as well as the client and other service partners when required. He/she regularly communicates with onshore field support to ensure maximum efficiency and preservation of the assets onboard and is responsible to ensure the accuracy of data entered in the Computer-Maintenance Management System (CMMS) by any persons in this department.

Requirements: – Minimum 1 year work experience as an Electrical Supervisor in the Electrical/Electronics department on a 5th or 6th generation DP semi or drillship ; or minimum 3 years validated experience as a Chief Electronic Technician in a similar installation. – Extensive training and experience with the maintenance and repair of drilling  equipment (NOV package preferably), marine equipment, HVAC systems, navigational, DP & Automation equipment (preferably Kongsberg), communication and data accquisition systems as well as subsea MUX systems.
