Job Title: Sub-Editor

Location: Abuja Nigeria

Roles:

He/she will:

•   Ensure that beats on his/her watch are optimally covered;

•   Ensure that stories/features/ interviews/photographs or other graphic materials on the pages used under his/her supervision are of high standard;

•   Initiate story/ feature ideas and follow-ups;

•   Maintain a high standard of ethics and discipline,

•   Co-ordinate the reporters under him/her and provide direction.

Requirements:

•   HND (Lower Credit) or First Degree (Second Class, Lower Division) in any discipline.

•   They should have five years' experience in a leading national paper.
