Catalan newspaper, Sport on Monday compared Lionel Messi's first goal against Osasuna on Sunday with a famous Nwankwo Kanu goal for Arsenal at Highbury against Deportivo La Coruna in 2000 in a Uefa Cup competition. The technique with which both players scored is called 'giving the keeper the eyes'. The two players simply walked in the ball after fooling the goalkeeper.
