18-yar-old Justin Bieber has broken the previous record held by Lady Gaga in 2010. Three years ago Lady Gaga overtook Britney Spears.

As at the 23rd of January, Justin Bieber's Twitter followers count was 33,331,355 compared to 33,327,342 for Lady Gaga.
