Laurent Blanc interest's Roma

AS Roma of Italy has revealed that they are weighing up the possibility of hiring the former French national team coach, Laurent Blanc at Summer after firing Zdenek Zeman.

After slipping to defeat to Cagliari last Friday - a
result which means Roma have yet to win in
Serie A this year - Zeman was relieved of his
duties, despite having only been appointed last
June.

Long-time backroom staff member Aurelio
Andreazzoli was named as a temporary
replacement for the Czech, and Roma have
acknowledged Blanc is in the running to take
over at the Stadio Olimpico on a permanent
basis ahead of the 2013-14 campaign.
