Job Title: Head (Oil and Gas Insurance)

Location: Lagos

The Job:

•   Will be the Team Leader in the marketing of insurance products and services to the Oil & Gas industry in the country.

•   Expected to play a leading role in the achievement of set production targets for the year.

•   Develop new markets for the company with the majors, marginal's and other operators in the upstream, mid stream and downstream sectors of the industry in Nigeria.

•   Develop, enhance and maximize business leads and acts as the business development strategist for the company.

•   Source for Oil and Gas facultative insurance businesses.

Skills:

•   Demonstrate adequate knowledge of basic insurance products.

•   Proven business development skills.

•   Demonstrate marketing skills, technical skills, presentation skills, insurance knowledge, communication skills and industry knowledge.

•   A good knowledge of the Oil and gas insurance underwriting and marketing.

Qualification/Experience:

•   First degree/HND in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics or any other numeric discipline.

•   Possession of higher degree especially the MBA would be an added advantage.

•   Should be fully qualified (ACIIN, ACII).

•   At least 10 years post NYSC experience most of which should be hands on experience in an insurance company and or insurance broking environment with reference to Oil & Gas and energy.
