Bayelsa State Governor, Hon. Seriake Dickson has returned to the State capital after a short trip to the United Kingdom as a member of President Goodluck Jonathan's entourage.

The Governor was accorded a warm reception by top government functionaries, women and members of the Restoration Youth Network (REYNET).

His arrival also officially kick starts the one year anniversary of the Restoration administration in the state, which is expected to be low-keyed.

Speaking at the gateway town of Igbogene, where the Governor stopped over to briefly inspect an ongoing road project, the Director General of the Restoration Youth Network (REYNET), Mr Timipre Asari observed that the huge turn-out of youths was indicative of the fact that Bayelsans are happy with the developmental strides of the Hon. Dickson-led administration in one year.

Governor Dickson, accompanied by the paramount ruler of Opume Community in Ogbia Local Government Area, King Amalate Johnny Turner, was received at the Government House Gate by his Deputy, Rear Admiral Gboribiogha John Jonah (retired), Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Kombowei Benson, Secretary to the State Government, Professor Edmund Allison-Oguru, among other top government functionaries.
