Capello showed no interest in me - Victor Moses

Chelsea winger Victor Moses has revealed that he was snubbed by former England boss Fabio Capello and as a result chose to play for Nigeria instead.

The 22-year-old played for every England age group from the from Under-16 to U-21 level but elected to play for Nigeria after they approached him.

Moses told The Mirror:"Stuart Pearce may have ­ spoken to my agent about England, but he never spoke to me directly and Fabio Capello never spoke to me or showed any interest in me.
.
"Nigeria asked again and it just seemed like the right thing to do."

Moses has made 26 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions this season, scoring five goals.
