Neil Lennon hails Efe Ambrose

Super Eagles defender, Efe Ambrose has earned high praise from his manager at Celtic, Neil Lennon, The Nigerian Nations Cup winner has come under fire from fans and fellow players, following his mistakes in a UEFA Champions League game, that led to the Scottish side being humiliated 3-0 in front of their fans.

Lennon underlined his faith in the player, insisting he simply had an off match against the Italian side.

'' I've got a lot of time for him. I've got a lot of faith in him, Lennon told BBC Radio Scotland.

'' He just had a bad night (against Juventus). He's a terrific player and he's got a lot of suitors out there already but he wants to play here.

There were speculations that the backlash of the Juventus game might force Ambrose out of Celtic, with several clubs already named as suitors.
