Job Description:   – Reporting to Group CEO, the successful candidate must have substantial experience in a similar role (s) in a large matrix/regional reporting operation. – The incumbent will be an experienced HR professional in a generalist role covering a full range of HR functions covering multiple countries: organisational development and design, aligning people with corporate business objectives, leadership development, talent management, resourcing / recruitment, learning, training needs' analysis, people development, performance management and staff appraisals systems, reward management and benefits systems, job evaluation and salary structuring, and ensuring high-quality HR Operational/administration services to the business at all levels.

Job Requirements:

•   University Degree in business management or social sciences, and related fields. The successful candidate must be a qualified HR Practitioner with a post-graduate training and qualifications in human-resource management, preferably CIPD.

•   At least 8- 10 years of HR experience in reputable organisations in the private sector, preferably: oil and gas, manufacturing, banking, telecommunication, with at least five years in leading the HR Agenda at the group or senior levels of the company.

•   We are looking for a self-starter, dynamic and result oriented individual with a strong sense of leadership, responsibility, integrity, team working and excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

•   Africa Region based working experience.

Our Client a reputable group is involved in the manufacturing electrical cables, transformers and switchgear with 10 manufacturing facilities across the African Region. Product areas of interest to the client include electrical cables, transformers and switchgear and highly specified precision components and sub-assemblies mainly for the infrastructure, mining, oil and Gas sectors in Africa.
