Location: Lagos

Purpose Statement: Process all invoices and book all transactions in an efficient, timely and accurate manner and in line with payment policies of Aero. Key Accountabilities: – Allocate payments against suppliers' accounts – Ensure compliance with government tax policies – Ensure that supplier accounts are actively reconciled to supplier statements – Ensure that all issues and inconsistencies are followed up and acted upon with suppliers – Assist the Financial Accounts Manager in delivering strong credit control – Ensure the maintenance of an accurate supplier database – Ensure that all procedures and Internal Controls are adhered to

Knowledge, Skills and Experience: – This position requires a graduate with a university degree or its equivalent preferably in accounting.  – ICAN membership would be an added advantage.  – At least 3 years experience in the Finance department of a reputable organization preferably in the Accounts Payable unit. – Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills Sound understanding of foundation accounting and double entry.  – Exposure to financial accounting systems, spreadsheets and other Microsoft Office tools
