Requirements:

•   Minimum of advanced degree in international relations, development, or a related field, and 10 years' work: experience in the international development and conflict management;

•   Experience and demonstrated expertise in the areas of conflict management and mitigation, post-conflict reconstruction, and democracy and governance within the Nigerian context;

•   Knowledge of fragility frameworks, early warning systems, support to peace processes, reconciliation, and/or security sector reform,

•   Excellent skill in writing, editing, formatting, research and oral communications, and writing technical proposals for USAID;

•   Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

General Requirements: Applicants must have excellent written & verbal communication skills in English, familiarity with USAID policies & procedures, & experience working in Nigeria.
