Position with international service company. offered on a long term annual rolling Contract only basis in Nigeria – Port Harcourt & Lagos. Responsibilities:

Responsible for project engineering of relevant products defined by Contract Scope of Work:

• Technical responsible for the specified products as defined for the project.
• Prepare technical specifications of the IWOCS and PCS.
• Review of project specific documentation from sub-suppliers.
• Participation in final acceptance tests to ensure correct functionality.
• Achieve product quality, functionality and design life as required.
• Ensure that products are in compliance to Contract documents, HSE requirements and FMC specifications.
• Report area of concerns in projects for the relevant products
• Perform the project work in accordance with FMC policies and procedures
• Accountable for budget and project schedules related to engineering performance of the above
• Approve the final product from sub supplier before delivery to FMC.

Role:

• Perform project specific work according to defined project scope.
• Create, review and check engineering documents.
• Approve or reject engineering documents from sub-suppliers.
• Approve or reject technical solutions applicable for the relevant product within a project.
• Stop project specific work and call for a MOC (Management Of Change) meeting.
• Approve or reject project specific documentation.
• Approve or reject new / configured products.
• Give feedback to engineering processes and instructions.
• Give cost input including engineering hours to sales department.

Requirements:

• Degree
• hydraulic components and systems
• mechanical design,
• instrumentation / control / electrical design
• purity and reliability in hydraulic systems
• corrosion treatment
