The term "medical bankruptcy" has often been used to describe bankruptcy filed by people who have a lot of medical debts. It is not something different from regular plain old bankruptcy; it is the same thing.

Call a bankruptcy attorney who offers a free first appointment and schedule an appointment. You can discuss the nature of your bills and whether bankruptcy seems like the right solution in your particular situation.

When I worked in a bankruptcy law firm, I can't imagine telling a caller that "there is no such thing as medical bankruptcy" (even though that is technically correct). The right response would be to ask if you would like to schedule an appointment.

Skip the rude attorneys (and attorneys with rude support staff) and make an appointment with somebody who treats your questions with respect.
