They are currently recruiting for the position of Electrical and HVAC Supervisor, based in Nigeria.

Job Description:

•   Supervise and monitor all works related to Electrical & HVAC discipline and ensure compliance with Project specifications.

•   Report to Construction Superintendent on progress of his activities in liaison with the E & I leader.

•   Ensure the supervision of Electrical and HVAC installation works for camp, accommodation erection and within the oil and gas facilities.

•   Coordinate with operations to ensure compliance with SIMOPS requirements.

•   Ensure that the contractor personnel are trained and certified to access/work on electrical stations/premises.

•   Involvement in the permit to work preparation in order to make sure the activity is well organized to avoid any delay due to the PTW process.

•   Review and analyse planning updates including critical path for discipline related activities, review progress for discipline related activities and coordinate with Project Planning Engineer.

•   Follow up (if any) procurement, construction, expediting FAT for discipline related activities.

•   Give full assistance to Site teams during the preparation and execution of shutdowns.

•   Comment on contractor documents – method statement, procedures etc in due time.

•   Coordinate activities aimed at ensuring compliance to Project specification within his discipline.

•   Ensure that approved Site modifications are implemented and documented for as-built.

•   Lead any Site verification or survey in his discipline and coordinate reporting of result.

•   Support and enforce the HSE Project objectives and directives.

•   Support and implement the Project HSE management system (plans, procedures and specification).

•   Attend HSE meetings and training when required.

•   Participate in job safety analysis and make safety suggestions.

•   Report any unsafe acts or conditions observed.

•   Attend Project meetings as and when required.

•   Ensure accurate reporting of his activities within the company organisation.

Skills & Experience:

•   BSc or HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

•   Significant experience for BSc and extensive experience for HND in HVAC installation in the Oil and Gas sector.

•   Language: English

•   Computer Literacy: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.

This is a contract position.

The rate for this position is negotiable.
