Marie Stopes Nigeria seeks qualified candidates to fill the following key position for a 3 year USAID funded family planning capacity building project aimed at expanding contraceptive choices in 20 states in Nigeria. The overall objective of this project is to ensure, in close collaboration with the Government of Nigeria and other partners, an increased availability of and access to quality reproductive health and family planning services, with a focus on the informed and voluntary use of long acting methods. Anticipated results focus on increased Contraceptive Prevalence Rate (CPR) through increasing demand, creating an enabling environment and delivering quality services.

Summary Responsibilities/Job Description:

•   The Financial Manager must have a degree in financial management or other relevant fields. Relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.

•   At least 8 years of experience as a senior finance manager with a reputable NGO or donor agency.

•   Previous experience in FP/RH projects is preferred.

Qualifications/Experience:

•   S/he must have thorough knowledge and understanding of professional accounting principles, theories, practices, and terminology.

•   Additionally, S/he must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and have a high proficiency in the use 0f computer, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Work etc., and the ability to use various commercially available accounting software programs.
