Laurea University of Applied Sciences Exams abroad

Laurea UAS belongs to the FINNIPS network which is arranging entrance exams outside Finland. The degree programme specific entrance exams will be held in the following countries (exam dates to be announced):

Entrance Examinations in Exceptional Cases in the Finnish Embassies Abroad

In exceptional cases the entrance examination may be taken on the same day as in Finland in the Finnish Embassies in European, Asian or North- and South-American countries (http://www.formin.fi -> Diplomatic missions) or in the Finnish Cultural and Academic Institutes abroad (http://www.institute.fi), if the country in question is not already mentioned in the lists above. Exams cannot, however, be arranged in honorary consulates. The entrance examination arrangements will have to be agreed on with the Admissions Office of Oulu University of Applied Sciences. International applicants will receive detailed instructions for procedures that need to be undertaken in the invitation letter. Please contact the Admissions Office, tel. +358 10 27 21032 or e-mail admissions@oamk.fi for further information. Note that it depends on the goodwill, resources and facilities of the Embassies and Cultural Institutes, if they are able to supervise the exams for the candidates. Oulu UAS cannot affect the decisions of the Finnish Embassies and Cultural Institutes.

Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences Entrance Examination Abroad

Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences (UAS) organise entrance exams abroad in cooperation with the so called FINNIPS network (Finnish Network for International Programmes). Rovaniemi UAS will invite applicants who have demonstrated their eligibility and language skills by the set date to participate in the entrance exams in the countries listed.

EXAMS IN EMBASSIES

RAMK is also providing the possibility to do your entrance examination in the Finnish embassy in your home country. Most of the embassies are in cooperation with RAMK but this possibility is not guaranteed in all countries. However, keep in mind that embassies will charge a certain amount of money for their services (50-400 € per candidate) that will have to be paid by you. Coming to Rovaniemi for the exams is always free of charge but you will have to cover your own travel costs.

The embassies in question will be informed to the applicant.
