The plant is estimated to produce 5 million metric tons of cement annually.   The contract was signed in Lagos by the president and chief executive of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, representing Dangote Group and managing director/chief executive, Waclaw Lukowicz, representing Siemens Ltd.   Present at the event were: Walter von den Driesch, consul general of the Federal Republic of Germany in Nigeria; Kunle Alake, chief operating officer of Dangote Group; Abdu Dantata, group executive director, Dangote Industries; Monica Musonda, director, legal and corporate affairs, Dangote Cement; Bhairappa Kashinath, deputy director, project division and Wole Adeleke, chief financial officer of Dangote Cement.  Dangote said: "We are pleased to partner with Siemens, a globally recognised company in power plant construction.
