1. Technologist I: CONTISS 9 (N682,547.00 – N1,008,831.00)

The candidate for the post must possess:

•   A good Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)/HND in Science Laboratory Technology or relevant professional qualification registrable with the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) in any of the following disciplines: Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physiology, Agric/Food Engineering (Soil and Water Option), Music, Geoinformatlcs & Surveying, Urban & Regional Planning, Vocational Education (Automobile Works, Welding Fabrication, Wood Building Technology, Elect/Elect. Tech),

•   At least 3 years working experience as Technologist II and must be registered with NISLT at a level not below Associate membership grade

2. Technologist II: CONTISS 7(N590,191.00 – N868,105.00)

Faculty of Arts (Department Of Music)

Qualifications

•   B.A/HND in Music Technology plus

•   One year experience with the ability to repair and maintain piano or electronics instruments

3. Senior Technologist: CONTISS 9 (N788,784.00 – N1,142,410.00)

Qualifications:

•   Same as (1) above in any of the following disciplines: Architecture, Anatomy, Community Health, Computer Engineering, Orthopaedics and Traumatelogy, Physiology, Surgery, or Zoology.

•   At least 6 years relevant working experience as Science Laboratory Technologist and must be registered with NISLT at a grade not below Associate.

•   The candidate for the Anatomy Laboratory must possess the above qualification with a minimum of one year post-qualification experience in Anatomy Laboratory.

4. Principal Technologist: CONTISS 11 (N984,105.00 N1,386,335.00)

Qualifications:

•   Same as in (1) in any of the following discipline: Chemistry or Zoology.

•   At least 9 years relevant working experience as Science Laboratory Technologist and must be registered with NISLT at a grade not below Associate.

5. Assistant Chief Technologist: CONTISS 12 (N1,086,153.00 – N1,519,113.00)

Qualifications

•   Same as (1) in any of the following disciplines: Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Pharm. & Medicinal Chemistry, Pharm. & Pharm. Tech., Physiology, Zoology,

•   A good Bachelor's degree

•   At least 12 years relevant working experience as Science Laboratory Technologist OR Fellow of NISLT with thesis

•   At least 9 years relevant working experience as Science Laboratory Technologist and must be registered with NlSLT.

Conditions of Service: Conditions of Service as generally applicable in the Nigerian University System and in the Public Service in Nigeria, The appointment is pensionable.
