Enugu Rangers head coach, Okey Emordi is a satisfied man after his squad saw off Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions, Kano Pillars and in convincing fashion too.

As much as the result looked flattering, Emordi, who has managed at Enyimba in the past, believes his team's win over Kano Pillars does not signal that the title will be heading to Enugu just yet after more than two decades of wait.

"I'm very satisfied with the way we played and the outcome. It goes to show that we are in contention and will be up there till the end of the season.

"We can't start talking about the title now because we have not even reached the halfway of the season.

So it's still a long season away but I know this team can achieve so much at the end of this season," said the trainer of the Flying Antelopes.
