W.Cup Qualifiers: Keshi Considering Emenike, Akpala Call-Up

There are strong indications that Super Eagles Coach Stephen Keshi is considering making a choice between strikers Michael Eneramo and Joseph Akpala to fill the vacuum left by injured striker Emmanuel Emenike ahead of Nigeria's heavy schedule of matches next month. Both players have a similar burly physiological make-up and are capable of adding a lethal physical edge to the Super Eagles attack like Emenike did at the Nations Cup earlier in the year. The team's busy summer will start with a friendly match against Mexico on May the 30th, followed by play back-to-back World Cup qualifiers against Kenya and Namibia on June the 5th and the 12th, before opening their FIFA Confederations Cup campaign against Tahiti on June 17. Both strikers last played for the Super Eagles in 2010.
