Mark, Abdullahi Mourn Jossy Lad

Senate President, David Mark has said that the late former Falcons' coach,  Joseph Ladipo otherwise called 'Jossy Lad' left behind a positive legacy and a footprint in the sands of time. In a condolence message to the government and people of Oyo state over his death, Senator Mark described late Ladipo as a patriotic Nigerian who brought the country to the limelight through the exploits of the Falcons.

In a message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Paul Mumeh, Senate President Mark said, " Jossy Lad exhibited high sense of discipline and upheld high moral standard both as a player and a coach," attributes he added made him excel in his various assignments.

"Jossy Lad's death has created a vacuum especially in soccer administration in Nigeria.
.
We have lost a patriot and a forthright administrator. We cannot forget in a hurry his successes as the Falcons' handler", Senator Mark lamented.
