Job Description:

An opportunity with a leading FMCG client with very strong brands across multiple categories.

Reporting to the Board of Business, the Country Manager will have overall responsibility for achieving or exceeding the Sales and Distribution objectives for Nigeria (West Africa) to ensure achievement of company's business objectives and strategy.

•   Principal accountabilities on Sales Targets Volume/Revenue

•   Ensure maximum distribution coverage as set forth

•   Marketing support, driving a high performance Team spirit

•   Market checks

•   Sales Systems

•   Credit control and coordination  

•   Execution of marketing and promotional activities in the market with post analysis.

•   Monitoring & Managing the Sales team

•   Total West Africa Target Delivery

Requirements:

•   Bachelor's degree in Marketing, preferably an MBA in Sales & Marketing

•   Advanced IT skills (MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

•   Strong communication skills in Business English (verbal and written)

•   Work Experience of  8-10 years in Sales within the FMCG industry

•   4-5 years in a Senior Sales role would be ideal

•   Experience on working for several individuals at the same time

•   Job requires travel in and around Africa
