Reports To: Accounts/Finance Head

Summary of Responsibilities: A candidate for Lonadek's Finance Officer position will reports to the Accounts/Finance Head and have the following specific duties and responsibilities.

Details of Responsibilities:

Handling;

•   All aspects of bookkeeping including sales and purchase ledger input, reconciliations, journals and nominal ledger administration

•   Payroll

•   Returns to government agencies (including VAT)

•   Credit control

•   Compilation of budgets, cash-flow forecast and financial management reports on monthly and ad hoc basis

•   Preparation of statutory annual reports

•   Maintaining contact with bankers, investment managers, pension advisors and auditors

•   Liaising with auditors and company executives and answering queries on financial based matters

•   Proposing and discussing changes and improvements to the company's current accounting setup

Required Qualifications: At least three year's hands-on all round experience working in an accounts office ICAN, ACCA, CIMA (or similar).

Required Skills & Experience:

•   Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

•   Exposure to one or more computerised accounting packages

•   Some knowledge of not for profit organisations and small companies statutory reporting requirements will be a bonus

•   Excellent communication skills and telephone manner

•   Ability to work unsupervised and develop the job
