Job Title: Lead Instrumentation and Control Engineer

Job Description:

•Responsible for specific engineering works for ILF Engineers Nigeria Projects.

•Coordinate engineering support with other ILF companies for ILF Engineers Nigeria projects.

•Coordination and guidance of reporting with the project manager.

•Organisation, origination and pursuit of the project files and documentation in coordination with the project manager.

•Early recognition of project plan deviations and the introduction of counter measures.

•Immediate notification of the project manager concerning unusual events, particularly in relation to possible contractual effects.

•Recognition, registration and notification to the project manager of non-contractual services

•Perform Pre-feasibility Studies and technical bids.

•Analyze and comparison of technical bids.

•Early recognition of project plan deviations and the introduction of corrective actions.

•Set-up the engineering team related to Instrumentation and control.

•Ensure fulfilment of the Contract Scope of work related to Instrumentation and control Engineering.

•Co-ordinate and interface between the different groups/disciplines involved.

•Plan and ensure the documentation of design reviews and interdisciplinary checks related to his tasks and give input to Project Manager.

•Ensure the preparation, quality control, internal approval, issue and (where applicable) Client approval of engineering documents and drawings related to his tasks.

•Participate in regular project management meetings.

•Attend all the company-organised training courses when invited.

•To perform all tasks/activities relevant to the company, assigned by the Management as required

Application Requirements:

•Candidate must have above 8 years cognate experience in FEED and DED in Oil and Gas related projects

•Candidate must have high level of communication skill, leadership qualities which include independence, proactive, team player, hard worker and ability to co ordinate and control his team.

•Masters degree in Instrumentation or relevant discipline is an added advantage.

•Must have relevant Instrumentation and control certifications with relevant bodies

•COREN Certification is an added advantage
